The Hunting Lodge is a beautiful stone property built in 1820 by Charles Norris, the famous water colour artist, and nestles in 30 acres of woodland with a river in the front and a private beach a short stroll away! The golden sands of the summer beach also offer a deserted coastline to walk in the autumn, winter and spring. Peregrine falcons, rabbits and squirrels are your constant companions in this lovely exclusive private estate. The Hunting Lodge has been selected as a Site of Special Scientific Interest because it is home to the very rare Lesser Horseshoe bats which live in their own exclusive accommodation!
