Foodies and foragers looking for a ‘really wild’ weekend this September can combine a trip see us at Celtic Haven with a visit to the sixth annual Really Wild Food & Countryside Festival in St David’s, Pembrokeshire.
The Really Wild Food & Countryside Festival this year takes place from September 4 – 5 and is a celebration of food and countryside crafts originating from the wild. The weekend boasts walks and talks, cooking demonstrations from four top chefs, craft workshops and family entertainment including ferret races and welly wanging.
Held within sight of the sea and the ancient cathedral at St David’s, the festival boasts over 70 exhibitors and producers who will also be on hand to showcase the best of Pembrokeshire’s wild produce – with everything on offer having to be at least partly sourced from the wild.
Accommodation during the Really Wild Food and Countryside Festival starts from £386 for a short break from September 3 -6, or £515 for a week in a one bedroom cottage suitable for two people. A two-bedroom cottage starts from £562 for a short break, or £750 for the week.
