A mother’s day as special as she is with Celtic Haven18th March 2011
At Celtic Haven, we’re making your mum-appreciation easy this year!
Our Waves Italian bar & restaurant has created a special experience on April 3rd to honour the wonderful ladies who are our mothers. While sampling the delights of the delicious menu with mums in mind, enjoy the wonderful view of Caldey Island and the picturesque surroundings. 3 courses are priced at £19.95 and, with consideration for smaller appetites, starters, main courses and desserts are all priced separately.
Taking advantage of the beginning of Spring, David Zanato, our chef and manager, has created a menu which introduces lighter fare and combines flavourful ingredients into tantalizing dishes.
Starters include Asparagus & Goat’s Cheese Salad and a Roulade of Smoked Salmon, Trout & Crab served with a dill & lemon mayonnaise. The 6 main courses are designed to appeal to all tastes whether you prefer more traditional fare or something a little different. And, as an extra touch each Mum will be presented with a spring flower.
David has Italian parents and was born and raised in Pembrokeshire. After working in London for many years at several top establishments, he returned to Pembrokeshire and in 2009 he joined our team at Celtic Haven, bringing his own unique style of cooking and presentation to this “little slice of heaven on the coast” and to the restaurant overlooking Caldey Island.
And to really make your Mum feel special, we also have an over-night Eat, Rest & Stay package for Mums and their families on April 2nd and/or April 3rd. Just £55 per person for an overnight stay, use of all the leisure facilities and a continental breakfast, served in your cottage. Or take advantage of the 3-night Put A Spring In Your Step Package for a Friday through Monday stay at just £149 pp including dinner Friday night and £30 to spend towards spa treatments (available until April 4th).
