This May, The Spa at Celtic Haven is delighted to celebrate 10 successful years since we opened our doors as a haven of tranquillity in 2003. Bianca Smith, Senior Therapist and Spa Manager, has been with The Spa since its inception and is extremely proud of her experienced team of therapists.“It’s hard to believe 10 years have passed since I joined The Spa in 2003 as a newly qualified therapist!” said Bianca. “The time has flown by and I’ve loved seeing The Spa develop and blossom into what it is today. I really enjoy the relationship we have with our regular clients and it’s also great to welcome so many new faces.”
“We’re proud to be West Wales’ only Elemis Premier Spa and we offer a tempting choice of more than 80 treatments and therapies from international brands Elemis, Thalgo, Jessica, Vani-T, Coco Bay and St. Tropez. You’ll also find a menu of beauty treatments and a number of bespoke therapies designed especially for Celtic Haven.”
Not only is Bianca experienced in Elemis and Thalgo treatments and therapies but she is a Reiki Master and has been specially trained in ‘mother-to-be’ massage. She was once described by a national newspaper journalist as ‘the best massage therapist in the world!’ so it’s easy to see why her loyal clients return time and time again!
Working with Bianca you’ll find the healing hands of Hayley Brolan and Stacey Thomas, both qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Beauty Therapy through Pembrokeshire College. Since Hayley joined the Spa in July 2009 and Stacey in March 2010, both have quickly built their own client following because of their professional yet personal approach and magic touch!
The whole team has also received extensive training from Elemis and Thalgo in our wide range of treatments and products.
If you’ve never been to a spa before you will soon be put at ease, from the minute you arrive to a warm welcome from Naomi Denning and Betty Hibbits, our experienced receptionists. Over the years Naomi and Betty have acquired an in-depth understanding of The Spa’s treatments, therapies and client needs and are a vital part of the team. You’ll also find them at the end of the phone if you have a question or fancy booking a treat!
In addition, due to increasing demand we are delighted to welcome back Kirsty Ringham as a therapist this May. Having worked in The Spa with Bianca previously and qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Beauty Therapy, Kirsty is delighted to be rejoining the team!
Within The Spa itself you’ll find 7 individually-designed treatment rooms which use sound and light to create an incredibly soothing environment. To add to the luxury of your experience, the ‘Relaxation Room’ offers spectacular views over the cliff-tops to Caldey Island and beyond.
As well as individual treatments and therapies we offer a range of great-value spa days and breaks for any occasion, from individual escapes to group celebrations. With our collection of charming 12th Century cottages and Waves cliff-top bar and restaurant, you have the perfect combination for a luxury spa package…whether it’s a special occasion or just a little treat!
Bianca and the whole team would like to thank all of our clients for their continued support and we hope to welcome even more new faces over the next 10 years!
The Spa is open 7 days a week from 9am until 5pm with late opening until 8pm on Thursdays. You’ll find a wide range of products in stock from Elemis, Thalgo and Jessica so give Naomi or Betty a call on 01834 871850 or feel free to pop in.
The Spa can be found in Lydstep on the Tenby to Manorbier road and there’s plenty of free parking!
