There are only a few weeks to go until the Long Course Weekend here in Tenby; an action-packed weekend attracting elite tri-athletes from around the world, especially those in training for the ultimate Ironman Wales challenge taking place in Tenby this September.
The Long Course weekend takes place from Friday 11th – Sunday 16th July 2014 and it never fails to deliver a fantastic atmosphere in Tenby and surrounding Pembrokeshire.
The Long Course Weekend – what does it entail?
The event begins on Friday evening with The Wales Swim – a challenging 2.4 mile swim starting from Tenby’s North Beach.
On Saturday, the tri-athletes take on the The Wales Sportive – a 112 mile cycle ride taking athletes through some of the most beautiful areas of Pembrokeshire.
To finish the weekend off in style, athletes take on the arduous task of completing The Wales Marathon – a challenging 26.2 mile race between Tenby and Pembroke.
Athletes can take on the whole ‘Long Course’ challenge of all three events or tackle individual events. Whatever they choose, it’s certainly no mean feat!
How to enter
Entry to the entire Long Course Weekend starts from £149, or you can enter individual events from just £40. Simply visit:
