GREAT REASONS TO USE FREE WEIGHTS

          If correct technique is followed then it is just as safe to use free weights, such as barbells and dumbbells, as it is to use fixed weights. Free weights offer a host of advantages ~
* They are more functional than fixed weights. They involve balance and increased ranges of movement, which recruits more muscle fibre and have greater ‘real world’ transference.
* Free weights can be adapted to a much greater extent than fixed weights to your specific training and body shaping needs.
* Free weights offer a more mentally stimulating challenge. They’re more involving and get your ‘mental muscle’ working. You can select from hundreds of exercises – which means training should never become boring.
