Loose yourself for a day on board the Celtic Haven luxury coach; with air- conditioning, toilet facilities and your very own local guide.

Departure from the resort is at 8.30am after you've enjoyed your breakfast. You will be introduced to your driver and also to your guide, who will be a member of the Celtic Haven Client Care Team.

After settling down in your selected seat you will start a great day of discovery, away from the standard tourism trail so be prepared to meet some unusual people! You will cruise from the village westward along the coast and past Pembroke Castle, the birthplace of Henry 7th and one of the best maintained examples of a Tudor fortress in Wales.

You will ‘fly’ over the magnificent Milford Haven waterway via the Cleddau Bridge which is a work of art in itself and on to Haverfordwest the old county town of Pembrokeshire. Heading north now along the west coast of the National Park you will travel through the surfing paradise of Newgale where the offshore islands dominate the seascape then on to the romantic ‘fiord’ village of Solva.

Arriving at about 9.30am in the cathedral city of St David’s will give you ample time to immerse yourself in the ancient mystery of this, the smallest city in the UK.

You will learn the history of this very special cathedral which has the honour of being so important that ‘two pilgrimages to St David’s are equivalent of one to Rome’. Enjoy the historical aspect but also check out the cliff-top scenery, the local shops and cafés with those very tempting home made scones for a coffee break!

Re-joining the coach at noon you will now head inland to the little village of Martletwy where one of Wales’ greatest vintner secrets can be found. Cwm Deri vineyard is a story in itself, growing its own grape varieties for stunning Welsh wines and liqueurs.

Here Daniel will show you around the vineyard relate its history to you and then present you with eight different varieties of wines to sample. A delicious two course lunch will follow after which you will be free to wander and check out some great local cheeses, jams and delicacies to take home if you wish.

At 2.30pm you will head east to the wonderful little village of Narberth. This hamlet has re-invented itself over the years as the foremost ethnic shopping location in west Wales. Local craft shops rub shoulders with retailers of locally designed jewellery and antique emporiums are hidden behind art galleries and designer fashion outlets. Organic meats, fruit and vegetables adorn the stalls along the high street and cosy coffee shops are there for those with weary legs! Leave all your holiday shopping to Narberth, you won’t be disappointed.

At 5.30pm the luxury coach will gently cruise you back to Celtic Haven after, hopefully, a trip of a lifetime arriving back at the resort at approximately 6.00pm.
