What makes September exploration of Pembrokeshire so special?25th August 2018
Pembrokeshire exploration this September
With the scent of autumn bringing a crispness to the air and the beaches cleared from the hordes of summer tourists making the most of our glorious beaches, coastal walks, restaurants and sites of cultural significance, the advent of September can often be the optimal time to come and explore the riches that Pembrokeshire has to offer.
Clear coastal paths provide the opportunity to take in the full majesty of the splendour and wildlife as myriad of plants turn autumnal, whilst the hustle and bustle of the county’s major towns and beaches dies down to a simmer – affording the opportunity to leisurely peruse independent shops and enjoy our beaches with the sort of space that can make you feel truly at one with your surroundings.
Whilst the traditional holiday season may have passed, there remains plenty of activities for visitors to the county to get their teeth into, with live music performances by the Bright Eyes at Kiln Park Holiday Centre on 1st September or the Sleeping Dogs at the Three Mariners in Tenby on 14th September.
Check out the Bright Eyes here!
If live music isn’t to your taste then there’s also a ghost walk set to take place at Carew Castle on 6th September whilst the 2018 Narberth Book Fair arrives on 22nd September.
For those looking to take in cuisine from around the world, an exploration of the diverse array of food offered by rich Greek culture, there’s a Greek Feast taking place at Castlemead on 15th September and our very own Waves Restaurant is set to host its second Thai themed food night on the 22nd September following the success of the first such event.
Waves will also be hosting its latest Macmillan Coffee Morning on the 28th September – giving guests and visitors from further afield the opportunity to buy a cake, have a coffee and promote money for a wonderful charity.
