What to explore across Pembrokeshire in Spring 2019

Here's what you need to explore in Pembrokeshire this Spring-time!

Spring has officially arrived, bringing with it plenty of opportunities for us all to explore Pembrokeshire's wonderful offerings - thanks to the return of warmer weather and longer evenings.

With that in mind, we've produced a list of the best things you can enjoy over the coming months - check them out here!

Get historical with Carew Castle

The county has plenty of amazing historical locations to go and enjoy but one of our favourite spots has to be Carew Castle.

Sat in an idyllic village on a riverbank and brimming with lots of history, Carew Castle offers a fantastic opportunity to immerse yourselves in the county's offerings!

Head into Tenby for a meal out

Tenby is blessed with a number of great restaurants that we'd definitely recommend you checking out - especially with spring's return meaning that a number of these eateries are opening their doors again ready for the tourist season!

If you're looking for somewhere new then we would certainly recommend trying out the Mooring Restaurant & Café which offers hearty platefuls at breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Take the doggos out at Monkstone beach

If you're bringing your four-legged friends along with you then Pembrokeshire has plenty of places for you to treat them to a bit of fresh air!

We highly recommend Monkstone beach if you're looking to enjoy somewhere a little unique, with plenty of open spaces to enjoy (just be aware that there'll be plenty of steps to walk up once you've finished!)

4

Go for a trip to the north of the county

The ruggedness of north Pembrokeshire is a world away from the sandy beaches of the south.

This makes it a great change of scene for your holiday and we highly recommend exploring if you're here for a few days.

Whether it's the beautiful village ports of Abercastle or Newport, walking up the windswept Preselis or enjoying beaches such as Newgale or Whitesands, the north of the county has plenty to offer!

Visit our friends at Lydstep Beach Holiday Park

2019 has seen the beginning of our relationship with our new sister resort at Lydstep Beach Holiday Park, something that has brought with it an array of exciting new facilities that Celtic Haven's guests can take advantage of.

Whether its entertainment in the Manor House, a drink in their beer garden that has stunning views over Caldey Island or spending time on the sea thanks to their marine facilities, there's plenty to do with the Lydstep Beach team!
